Under general supervision, physically sets -up, processes, and troubleshoots Arburg/Niigata molding machines and ancillary equipment for the efficient production and assembly of plastic components for medical devices. Assists engineers to develop and qualify new product releases and to contribute/identify areas where efficiency and/or quality can be improved.
Prior experience with Arburg machine conversions is strongly preferred; Ability to read blueprints and schematics; mechanical abilities and aptitude; proficiency in the use of measuring equipment; proficient in the use of specialized inspection equipment;, good good written and verbal communication skills;, attention -to -detail
