A Manufacturing Company is seeking an Entry Level Estimator for a facility in South Shore, MA!
This individual should have experience in a estimating and analyzing blueprints for bidding on projects – per customer specification. Must have a high degree of knowledge and experience in the area of construction projects preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and interpret customer designs and specifications to develop manufacturing methods and processes for the purpose of generating cost estimates; including labor, material, and sub-tier processing
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
- Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
- Broad experience with manufacturing methods for precision parts
- The ability to understand and assimilate complex Customer requirements such as Drawings, specifications, and Product Performance outputs into manufacturing processes
- Ability to review and analyze financial data as it relates to pricing and specific departmental profitability
- Proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent professional written communication skills
- Excellent project and program management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
