Seeking a motivated and experienced Test Supervisor for a great opportunity for a full time, 1st shift opportunity with a Manufacturing Company in South Shore, MA!
This position is full time, Monday - Friday working 7:00am-4:30pm! This position pays 40+/HR depending on experience.
- Ensure safety is priority for team members on the production floor
- Drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality and increase productivity
- Adhere to production schedule to meet deadlines and on time delivery
- Assist team in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Ensure all test documents are scanned into system in a timely manner
- Work closely with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence
- Support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing process
- Drive continuous improvement projects on shop floor
- Plan, develop, and lead all aspects of on the job training for all team members
- Manage employee performance
- Manage all time and attendance tracking and reporting
- Ability to test electrical panels using proper power tools and hardware
- Use of hand tools such as soldering irons and grinding tools
- Adhere to safety procedures as outlined by company policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment in a supervisory or testing position required
- Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office and SAP
- 5S/Lean manufacturing and Planning Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
- Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
- Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions
