Job Summary:
Oversee quality, safety, productivity, and cost improvement efforts on the shift. This role is responsible for setting team goals, coaching associates, and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations by utilizing team skills in a continuous improvement environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement manufacturing objectives to optimize machine usage and reduce operating costs.
  • Coach and coordinate team members to meet production, quality, material usage, and cost goals.
  • Administer staffing, safety, attendance, quality, and production standards.
  • Facilitate communication across shifts regarding production, new processes, and maintenance needs.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and training.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions and drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and training of new associates, and recognize team accomplishments.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • BA/BS and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with AGS/Microsoft Office.
