Responsibilities:
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Inspects belts, gearboxes, chains, bearings, etc.
- Troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and devices to determine faults and failures.
- Regular repair and maintenance are required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds.
- Uses CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
- A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- PLC trouble shooting is a plus.
- Ability to problem-solve mechanical (electrical systems a plus).
- Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mature and respectful professional manner.
- Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
Education : High school diploma or ged
certs highly desirable
5 years industrial manufacturing experience desired
