Contract Manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner. Full time position working Monday through Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM and the position is paying $22/HR+ depending on candidates’ level of experience.

Full Benefits Package Effective after 90-day contract when hired on as permanent employee with company.

This position will be responsible for the planning and expediting of production requirements to meet on-time deliverables. The position is responsible for all material requirements, which includes production prioritization, and expediting with the supply chain team and communicating material requirements and availability to the manufacturing team.



Requirements:

  • Convert the sales order plan to a production schedule
  • Review open sales orders to make sure all orders are covered by a shop order
  • Work with Program Coordinators to schedule customer priorities
  • Responsible for making sure that schedules are being adhered to in all of the various work centers
  • Monitor workflow with the production supervisors to ensure all work centers are being utilized to the fullest extent
  • Monitor on-time deliveries
  • Work with Materials to expedite shortages
  • Communicate with management on work center progress and problems
  • Assist in the maintaining of accurate work center inventory information in the computer system
  • BS in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 or 3 years of project management experience in a challenging electronics manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with PC programs, MRP, ECOs, inventory management, and complex product structures
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer management skill
