Machine Shop seeking Fabrication Machine Operators for 2nd shift opportunities! The hours are on 2nd shift, Monday - Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm with overtime available daily and over the weekend if wanted!
- Review new work orders to include and not limited to drawings and other specification and to develop process plans with managers
- Setting up and loading programs for metalwork machinery including Vela Punch Press, EMK 3612 punch press, EHRT HC40 copper punch, EHRT HC80 copper punch, EHRT EB-40 copper bender, drill presses, and Amada Press brake
- Locate correct fixtures or Design and create new ones
- Locate correct gauges or Design and create gauges during inspection process
- Select cost effective cutting tools or make special tools when needed
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports per ISO policies
- Work closely with fellow machinists and production manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
- Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
- Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions
- Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
- Working knowledge of Windows based programs
