Machine Shop seeking Fabrication Machine Operators for 2nd shift opportunities!  The hours are on 2nd shift, Monday - Friday from 3:00pm-11:30pm with overtime available daily and over the weekend if wanted!

  • Review new work orders to include and not limited to drawings and other specification and to develop process plans with managers
  • Setting up and loading programs for metalwork machinery including Vela Punch Press, EMK 3612 punch press, EHRT HC40 copper punch, EHRT HC80 copper punch, EHRT EB-40 copper bender, drill presses, and Amada Press brake
  • Locate correct fixtures or Design and create new ones
  • Locate correct gauges or Design and create gauges during inspection process
  • Select cost effective cutting tools or make special tools when needed
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports per ISO policies
  • Work closely with fellow machinists and production manager


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
  • Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
  • Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions
  • Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
  • Working knowledge of Windows based programs
