ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- With direction, make various dunnage and boxes out of wood or steel.
- With direction, move finished material and raw material.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Assemble and install shipping caps.
- Understand and use crane hand signals.
- Clean work area each day and put tools back in their proper location.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Massachusetts Operating Engineers 1B license
- At least a HS Diploma or GED, preferred.
- Able to read tape measure and blueprints.
- Experience with overhead crane, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape measure, wood saws, drill, pneumatic tools, fork trucks, acetylene torches and hand tools.
- Able to work outside in different temperatures.
