Growing Local Manufacturer needs a Driver/Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent position paying $25+/HR., working full time, Monday through Friday 6:00AM-3:00PM.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Preventative maintenance tasks
- Painting, changing lightbulbs, electrical repairs
- Use of hand and power tools
- Fabricate new production/process equipment, fixtures & jigs
- Aid in the overall maintenance of the facility
- Handle additional assignments as required
- Welding experience is a plus
- Other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of electro-mechanical equipment
- 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints & perform basic shop math
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours per day
- Ability to perform all duties as assigned by management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clean driving record (valid drivers license)
- Must be able to pass preemployment drug test and physical test
