We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Powder Coat Painter to be part of our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with powder coating techniques, a keen eye for quality, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and apply powder coating to metal components and products according to specifications.
  • Ensure surfaces are clean, free from contaminants, and properly prepped for coating.
  • Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and curing systems.
  • Maintain proper coating thickness, quality control standards, and visual appearance of finished products.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and imperfections; perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in powder coating, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct imperfections in finished products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and the use of safety equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred:

  • Experience with various powder coating colors and finishes.
  • Prior experience in industrial or metal fabrication settings.
