Responsible to inspect both incoming and outgoing product as required to ensure compliance with customer prints, military specifications, industry standards and/or commercial requirements. Inspection includes a review of both our internal purchase and sales orders to ensure specified requirements have been properly addressed and adhered to. Inspectors are also responsible to contact suppliers in the event of a rejection to arrange for replacement material and/or to resolve documentation issue.
• Must be computer literate
• Must be capable of reading or learning to read mechanical drawings and schematics
• Must be capable of reading or learning to read military specifications, industry standards or commercial specs as required to determine product requirements.
• Must be capable of using or learning to use standard inspection equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, thread plugs, thread rings, precision pins, etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
