Seeking Assembly Technicians for a great opportunity for a full time, 2nd shift opportunity with a Manufacturing Company in South Shore, MA!

This position is full time, Monday - Friday working 3:00pm-11:30pm with overtime offered every day! This position pays $18/HR to start for candidates willing and able to learn a new skill!

  • Responsible for reading/understanding/interpreting blueprints/schematics to assemble, rework and/or reassemble units
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical diagrams and instructions provided
  • Assemble switches and related equipment
  • Build components with proper tools provided
  • Ability to build electrical panels using proper power tools and hardware
  • Use of hand tools such as soldering irons and grinding tools
  • Component & wire preparation, soldering, and molding
  • Wire and cable preparation and finishing
  • Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards
  • Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
  • Adhere to safety procedures as outlined by company policies


Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
  • Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
  • Ability to read drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions
  • Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
