Growing Client is seeking Assemblers for a great opportunity to go permanent with a company! First shift opportunities working Monday – Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM with overtime available! Paying $22/HR.+ per hour depending on experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity with full benefits package offered after being hired permanent with company.

Job Duties:

  • Will be assembling products according to customers’ needs, following blueprints, specific job specifications, and oral and other written specifications
  • Plans assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience
  • Mounts and connects auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment; cuts and fits pipe and tubing
  • Removes small quantities of metal, using hand files or portable grinders, to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts. Drills, taps, or reams holes, using drill press or portable drill
  • Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together, using hand tools or portable powered tools
  • Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement
  • May bend and install pipe for hydraulic systems. May align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears
  • Other duties as assigned 


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must know how to read a tape measure and do simple math (reducing fractions, etc.) 
  • Must be able to pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Ability to assemble large capital equipment using hand and power tools
  • Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment
  • May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of governmental agencies or professional and technical associations
