- Develop and maintain EHS policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Oversee permitting processes for hazardous materials and waste, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.
- Conduct facility audits and inspections, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Train employees on EHS protocols, emergency procedures, and OSHA compliance.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain records of EHS activities, including training, inspections, and incident reports.
- Stay updated on EHS regulations and best practices, providing guidance to staff and management.
- Manage EHS documentation, trainings, and emergency response plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of EHS experience, focusing on hazardous chemicals and permitting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws.
- Hands-on experience with EHS programs, audits, and employee training.
- Proven ability to handle permitting processes for hazardous waste and fire safety.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
