  • Develop and maintain EHS policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Oversee permitting processes for hazardous materials and waste, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.
  • Conduct facility audits and inspections, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
  • Train employees on EHS protocols, emergency procedures, and OSHA compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and implement preventative measures.
  • Maintain records of EHS activities, including training, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Stay updated on EHS regulations and best practices, providing guidance to staff and management.
  • Manage EHS documentation, trainings, and emergency response plans.

 



 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of EHS experience, focusing on hazardous chemicals and permitting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws.
  • Hands-on experience with EHS programs, audits, and employee training.
  • Proven ability to handle permitting processes for hazardous waste and fire safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
