Micro Tech is seeking a motivated and talented CNC Lathe Machinist to join the second shift. This opportunity is Monday - Thursday, working 4 - 10 hour days (flexible) from, 3:00PM-1:30AM with overtime available.

Job Duties:

Ability to set up and operate CNC Lathe Machining equipment.

  • Interpreting blueprints and drawings to perform CNC machine operations as needed for specific parts per customer orders
  • Will be responsible for measuring dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
  • Changing, mounting, installing, aligning and securing tools, attachments, fixtures, and pieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Experience and ability to machine and remove finished pieces for final inspection
  • Ability to change tooling, setup, piece placement, according to required machining sequences and customer specifications
  • Other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  • Ability to read, interpret and operate from blueprints and the ability to apply practical knowledge to execute CNC lathe machining operations
  • Must be able to operate machinery using exact dimensions/speeds/feeds while maintaining operations for dimension/speed/feed adjustments in product development as necessary
  • Comply with company safety regulations
  • Keep work area clean and organized
