Responsibilities:
- Operate turning, milling, and screw machine tools, managing multiple machines when needed.
- Interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure product dimensions and tolerances.
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
- Evaluate tooling to improve product quality.
- Perform various tasks under general supervision, following safety protocols.
- Utilize limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, requiring creativity and latitude.
- Report to supervisor/manager.
Requirements:
1-2 years in manufacturing background is a must.
Should be comfortable using a computer and learning new software programs.
Blueprint reading skills
Knowledge of precision instruments
Must work well with others, good interdepartmental work ethics are a must.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
