Seeking a talented and motivated Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee a growing Machine Shop on second shift. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday - Thursday, 3:00PM-1:30AM with benefits package offered immediately.
Job Duties:
- Oversee execution and support of machining and daily activates to ensure production flows according to production schedule
- Support team of machinists as needed with training, coaching and teaching of new skills and existing skills
- Manage workload as it relates to production flow process
- Communicate with operations to ensure all tools and equipment needed for daily production needs
- Ensure safety standards and guidelines are strictly followed
- Ensure all machines are in working order and communicate any issues as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in supervisory position overseeing a group of CNC machinists
- CNC Programming experience highly desired
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Ability to read, interpret and operate from blueprints
- Proven Leadership experience as it relates to manufacturing processes
